I stayed here for 10 days and had a great experience there. The room I had (superior queen room) was nice and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the cleaner came in every day that I was staying there. I was on the third floor and although mine wasn't one with a view, I still had a great view of Manhattan from my window so I was happy about that. Shops and laundromat just around the corner. 10 mins walk to one of two subways but the walk was fine, no issues. The staff greeted me nice and friendly and answered any of my questions that I had. Honestly really glad I stayed here and would absolutely stay again.
Very impressed by the OUTSTANDING services you provided at the hotel on the 8th of September. Employees are extremely professional, rooms are clean, the suburb feels safe and the view on New York from the room is simply breathtaking. I had issues with my debit card and the staff was very helpful. You provided outstanding services and I will come back to the hotel at my next visit for sure. I hope this employee who helped me will get promoted as he really deserves it.
I booked this hotel through AB&B and I arrived at 6:30am in the day of my check-in hoping to pay for an additional night, as if I had been there the previous night to be able to get into the room early. For some reason, they could not find my reservation and after calling the AB&B customer service, they made contact with the hotel to try to resolve the issue. After about 45 min, the gentleman at the front desk allowed me to pay for an additional night, deeply discounted, so that we could go rest while they sorted out my reservation. The rooms are small, which is typical for NYC, but the bathroom was unexpectedly big. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. After that initial issue in the morning, everything was sorted out and the trip was pleasant. If you have a car, there is no parking and you will have difficulty finding parking within a 10min walking distance.
Found this hotel last minute on Thanksgiving while visiting family on Roosevelt Island. Check-in was seamless and extremely friendly! Room was very nice, clean, and modern. Hotel is one of the nicest I've stayed at in quite some time. Parking could be a challenge but I lucked out with a spot out front. There's a parking lot a couple blocks down that costs $20 for 24 hours, if unable to find parking nearby. I'd come here again.
This was the best budget friendly hotel that I've stayed at in Queens! The front desk personnel were all pleasant, welcoming, and efficient. The property was very clean including the stairwell, hallway and elevator. The room, albeit small, was nice and clean. My room had a balcony with a decent skyline view. My only complaints were the fact there were only two hangers in the closet which did not fit the hanger bar so I had no place to hang my coat and other items. Secondly the parking advertised is far away, however, there was ample metered street parking a block or two away. Oh, be sure to check out the supermarket on 36th Avenue. They're open 24/7 and have quality prepared food along with other regular grocery items at unbelievably reasonable prices. Overall it was a nice experience. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed there for 2 nights, booked a room a few days before via Booking and had a good time. The room was clean and quiet, the bed cosy and the view magnificent (it was our 1st time i NYC and this view was our first live glimpse of Manhattan). The service was kind, a bit sleepy and self-oriented though :) It's a reasonable location for people coming from JFK and willing to see Manhattan/Brooklyn.
